Kobe Travel Guidebook Featuring Halal Kobe Beef and Kobe Mosque!

In January 2023, Kobe Tourism Bureau announced the creation of “Muslim Friendly Travel KOBE,” a guidebook aimed at Muslim travelers visiting Kobe. The guidebook features information tailored to the needs of Muslim tourists, including restaurants that serve halal food, such as halal Kobe beef, and Kobe Mosque, Japan’s oldest mosque.

Kobe is known for its delicious beef, and Halal Kobe beef is a particular draw for Muslim tourists. This high-quality beef is produced using halal methods, making it permissible for Muslims to consume. The guidebook includes information on restaurants that offer Halal Kobe beef, as well as other halal food options.

The guidebook also highlights Kobe Mosque, which was established in 1935 and is Japan’s oldest mosque. Besides providing prayer services for local Muslims, it also serves as a community hub for the city’s Muslim population.
